Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Claym (operated by Apparition Content) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact us anytime at hello@getclaym.com.

1. Customers and website visitors

• Account and contact details: name, email, company, and the team members you add.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We see your plan and payment status, not your full card number.
• Forms: what you send through the scorecard, help and job application forms, including any resume you attach.
• Usage: basic technical information such as sign-ins and the notes and lead statuses you save. We use what's needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising trackers.

We use this to provide and bill for the service, support you, send account and storm-alert emails, review job applications, and keep Claym secure. We don't sell customer or applicant information.

2. Property and homeowner information

To provide the service, we compile information about properties and their owners from public records (such as county property and sales records and business registrations), government weather data, and licensed third-party data providers. This can include an owner's name, mailing address, phone numbers, email addresses and do-not-call status. We make this information available to our subscribing contractors for the purpose of offering home-services work.

Opting out. If you're a property owner and don't want your contact information in Claym, email hello@getclaym.com with your name and property address. We'll remove your phone numbers and email addresses from Claym within 30 days and keep them out going forward. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Send those requests to the same address; we'll verify your request and respond within the time the law requires.

3. Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to run Claym: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email) and Google (business email and maps). They process information only on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

4. Security and retention

Information is encrypted in transit and access is limited to people who need it. We keep account information while your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, tax and billing records. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months.

5. Other

Claym is a business service and isn't directed at children. Information may be processed in the United States and the United Kingdom. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
